Publication Process

Every manuscript submitted to Khazanah: Journal of Islamic Education and Science  undergoes a rigorous selection process to ensure its scientific quality and contribution to the integration of Islamic education and science:

Submission & Initial Screening:
The editor evaluates the manuscript based on its alignment with the journal’s scope (Islamic education, and science), compliance with the writing guidelines (template), and a plagiarism check (maximum 20–25%).

Peer Review (Double-Blind):
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two expert reviewers in the relevant field. The identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed. The evaluation focuses on novelty, methodology, and depth of analysis.

Editorial Decision:
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
Accepted (without revision)
Minor Revision
Major Revision
Rejected

Author Revision:
Authors are given time to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ and editor’s feedback, accompanied by a response to feedback document.

Final Editing & Proofreading:
Accepted manuscripts undergo language editing and layout formatting to ensure readability and consistency before publication.

Production & Publication:
Articles are published online in an In-Press version before being assigned to a scheduled volume and issue.
