Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Penyerahan belum diterbitkan sebelumnya, atau sedang dalam pertimbangan jurnal lain (atau sebuah penjelasan belum disediakan dalam komentar kepada editor).
  • Teks harus sesuai dengan gaya selingkung jurnal, dan sesuai dengan aturan penulisan yang terdapat pada Panduan Penulisan, pada menu Tentang Jurnal.
  • File naskah dalam format file dokumen OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, atau WordPerfect. (.doc; .docx; .rtf)

Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts submitted to Al-Ibrah: Journal of Islamic Education and Science must be original scholarly works and must not have been previously published in any media.
  2. Articles must be written in proper and standard Indonesian or English, using an academic writing style rather than a popular scientific style or oral communication format.
  3. The length of the manuscript should be between 4,500–6,000 words, typed in Microsoft Word using Garamond font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing. The abstract must use Garamond font size 10 with single spacing. The paper size must be A4.
  4. The title must be written in capital letters, and each word in the subheadings must begin with a capital letter. The title should use Garamond font size 14 in bold, while subheadings should use Garamond font size 12 in bold.
  5. Articles must be submitted in soft copy format as an MS Word (.docx) file.
  6. All manuscripts will be reviewed by editors according to their respective areas of expertise. Authors will be given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on the editors’ recommendations or suggestions. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be provided in writing.
  7. Any matters related to permission for quotations, the use of computer software in manuscript preparation, or other issues concerning intellectual property rights (IPR), including any legal consequences arising therefrom, shall be the sole responsibility of the author.
